Hi. Hello. How are you?
I’m fine thanks for asking.
Look I know it’s been ages since we spoke but it’s been a super busy start to 2018. Especially for corporate shows.
Highlights have included delivering corporate entertainment for Hikvision in an old monastery in Manchester
Performing an corporate after dinner show to ridiculously well heeled international Governmental Sovereign Wealth Fund Managers in Birmingham’s best curry house (Asha’s since you ask).
Launching a high tech new product for Samsung in Amsterdam’s coolest hotel.
I think Samsung quite liked it. Check this out:
Anyway, that’s not why I called you (how’s the garden? Mum keeping well?).
For some reason I very seldom seem to play public dates in my home city of London (or as we indigenous inhabitants call it: Laaaaaandaaaan) unless it’s as an actual theatre run, but I’ve just two lovely ones go into the diary today.
I’m on a fantastic bill at one of the UK’s most iconic comedy clubs Downstairs at the King’s Head this Saturday 5th May 2018 (Details here) and a charity fund raiser with what might be the most solid old school bill I’ve ever played in at Monument in the heart of the City of London on the 4th of July (Trump jokes a go-go. Details here).
Anyway you should come and say hello.
Bring your mum. She doesn’t get out enough.
Mind the gap.
Doug x
